Mission Program in Vanua Levu - Fiji

Dayspring Ministries recruited yacht crew member, Solo, a volunteer.

Partnership is the key. The Bible Society is blessed to partner with Dayspring Ministries, churches, Christian organisation, communities, and individuals in this mission work currently in progress in Vanua Levu. Bible Society Representative in the North, Sakeasi Qalilawa, will be in charge of scripture distribution in all the locations selected. Campus Crusade for Christ team will be visiting houses (focussing on reaching non- Christian Indian families) with the help of the Youth with a Mission group. The Jesus Film will be screened every night in the various locations. Scripture Union staff Sisa Teilai will also be lending a hand in organising a special program for children (Kids Games), which also helps reach young people with the Word of God.

The dates and venues of outreach in Vanua Levu are as follow:
1) Labasa – 2-5 Sept
2) Bua – 7-11 Sept
3) Savusavu – 14-18 Sept
4) Taveuni – 21-25 Sept

Brother Solo of Kadavu was recruited as a crew of the Sea Hawk, the yacht now serving under the Dayspring Ministries. The Bible Society is a Christian ministry that wishes to recruit many volunteers in various areas of ministry. Mission Groups in different areas in Fiji have been formed and some are still in the process of forming. Once these mission groups are in place, the Society will then keep you informed of how you, your church, friends, relatives, and your group can be involved as well. There is so much reward in doing voluntary work for the LORD not only with the Society alone, but also in various Churches and Mission organizations around us. God bless!
